Cbd has also been researched for possible use in other forms treatment-resistant epilepsy. However, the majority of cbd-based treatments for epilepsy have shown promising results.

  1. Pain

Animal studies have shown cbd’s anti-inflammatory effects. It also works on the pain-sensing mechanisms to relieve pain.

Unfortunately, very few human trials have been done to test cbd produkte as a single pain reliever. Instead, the majority of trials tested cbd and THC together to alleviate pain. Health approved a combination medicine that contains cbd and THC in a 1:1 ratio for the relief from central nerve-related symptoms in multiple sclerosis.

Cbd treatment resulted in an observational study that showed a significant improvement in quality of life for patients who had non-cancer-related chronic pain. But, no statistically significant changes were found in patients suffering from neurologic symptoms or those with cancer-related chronic pain.

The anxiety levels of 57 healthy males who attempted a simulated public speaking test were significantly reduced by pretreatment with cbd 300mg. A simulated public speaking test was given to 57 healthy males. They were administered 300mg cbd pretreatment.

One observational study showed that cbd had a positive effect on anxiety in 21 patients. 8

Cbd has shown some positive effects in relieving depression in animals.

Animal studies have shown cbd has a positive effect in brain levels of serotonin. Low levels of serotonin can play a significant role in mood swings and pain. 11

31% reported that cbd has improved their sleep for people with anxiety or pain not related to cancer. 8

In a large study of 72 patients, 48 (66.7%) reported that their sleep scores had improved within the first month. But, they fluctuated as time went on. 9

In other studies, cbd was found to be able to preserve sleep architecture in subjects with anxiety or depression. Therefore, it is unlikely that cbd will have any adverse effects on sleep quality.

A laboratory experiment found that cbd inhibited the creation of excessive sebum in human sebocytes. Furthermore, cbd had an anti-inflammatory effect which prevented inflammatory chemicals from activating. Topical cbd might be a treatment for acne.
